Thanks for stopping by!
I’m Bonnie Mincu, a Senior Certified ADHD Coach for adults with Attention Deficit Disorder.
I’ve created this blog to give you a glimpse into the sorts of issues faced by adults with ADD / ADHD and — most importantly — some solutions for them. Although ADD / ADHD poses some challenges, it need not prohibit you from reaching your goals and thriving in all aspects of life. As an ADHD Coach, I take a positive approach of determining how each individual can use their own strengths and ADD tendencies to their advantage.
First, a note on semantics: I use the terms “ADD” and “ADHD” interchangeably.
Scroll down on the right side to see a list of CATEGORIES of concern to ADD Adults. Under each Category, you’ll find a list of relevant blog entries on that topic.
Any time I mention a coaching client, that person’s name and other personal details have been altered to maintain confidentiality.
I invite you to subscribe to this blog for strategies, solutions, discussion and tips for ADHD Adults — and to visit my website, www.thrivewithadd.com — for an ADD Self-Test Questionnaire and other resources for adults with ADD – ADHD.
Enjoy!

This blog is produced by Bonnie Mincu, Senior Certified ADHD Coach and founder of “Thrive with ADD,” Thrive with ADD provides resources and solutions for the challenges faced by Attention Deficit Disorder Adults..
Bonnie Mincu’s Background
Bonnie became an ADHD Coach following 20+ years in corporate management, coaching and consulting. She had left her last position with a “Big 5” consulting firm in 1999 to pursue executive coaching and consulting on her own. To her surprise she found that without the fast-paced structure and deadlines she was accustomed to, she was having trouble focusing on building her business. That’s when she found out she had ADD, and began advanced training in ADD / ADHD Coaching through the ADD Coach Academy.
As she learned the essential strategies to overcome her own challenges, Bonnie began to attract ADD / ADHD clients. That formed the turning point of her career, when she started her company, “Thrive with ADD.”
Bonnie has produced a 5-minute online video, “The Attention Movie,” and has developed learning resources on numerous Adult ADHD topics. She has created a “Self-Coaching Workshop” of workbook and CD’s and has taught her Thrive with ADD at Work seminar at New York University since 2004, where it sells out every time.
In true ADD fashion, Bonnie has had several careers prior to founding “Thrive with ADD,” spanning Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurial start-ups and non-profits. She has been an advertising copywriter, marketing manager, franchise owner, organization development consultant, manager of training and development and management consultant, as well as an executive / business coach.
Bonnie credits her background in training design and process consulting with her ability to create “how-to” resources and classes for ADHD Adults. People with ADD often say, “I know what to do, but I don’t know how to get myself to do it.” Bonnie has created tools and customized strategies that allow each individual she coaches to succeed, using their own traits and methods.
Bonnie is also an avid oil painter and jewelry designer. Her art website is www.mincu-studio.com.

Hi from Bonnie Mincu:
Thanks for wanting to share the link for the Thrive with ADD blog (http://www.thrivewithadd.com/blog)! My webmaster is in the process of working on the whole website this week, so I suspect that’s the problem why the share isn’t working. If you’re on my mailing list (by entering your email for the free “Clear Clutter Guide”), you’ll get the announcement of the new website and some great new programs I’m coming out with next month.
